1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the SLATE_FORGE website, creating an account, or placing an order for heavy-duty truck parts, brackets, or custom fabrication components from SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or purchase our products.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY
To place orders or access specific features of our catalog, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. PRODUCTS & CUSTOM FABRICATION SPECIFICATIONS
We strive to display product images, dimensions, material grades, and specifications as accurately as possible. However, due to continuous engineering improvements:
Standard Catalog Components
All replacement parts and assemblies are engineered for heavy-duty commercial applications. Specifications are subject to manufacturing tolerances and material enhancements without prior notice.
Custom Fabrication Submissions
For custom bracketry or modified geometry uploaded by customers (CAD/drawings), the customer is responsible for verifying structural load requirements and mounting clearance prior to submission.
4. PRICING, PAYMENTS & ORDERS
All prices listed on SLATE_FORGE are in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices or correct errors at any time prior to order confirmation.
- Payment Methods: Credit cards and electronic payments are processed securely via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Stripe).
- Order Acceptance: Receiving an order confirmation email does not signify our final acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to cancel or limit order quantities at our sole discretion.
- Taxes & Freight: Applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout based on the delivery destination. If sales tax is not collected by us for a particular jurisdiction, you remain solely responsible for any applicable state sales or use taxes due under your local tax regulations.
5. SHIPPING, FREIGHT & RISK OF LOSS
Shipping and freight delivery estimates are calculated based on component weight, dimensions, and destination:
Territorial Limitation: Products and services offered on SLATE_FORGE are available solely to customers located within the United States (including all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and US territories). We do not accept orders or ship to international destinations. Any orders placed for international fulfillment are subject to immediate cancellation and refund.
Delivery & Freight Terms
All purchases of physical items are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the commercial carrier. Heavy freight shipments must be inspected upon delivery before signing carrier bills of lading.
6. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION & SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Certified Technician Requirement
Heavy-duty commercial vehicle components, chassis mounts, and suspension hardware must be installed by certified heavy vehicle mechanics using proper OEM torque specifications and safety procedures. SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS is not liable for damages, accidents, or failures resulting from improper installation or unapproved vehicle modifications.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CUSTOM CAD
All content on SLATE_FORGE—including logos, design systems, product catalog data, graphics, and software—is the property of SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS and protected by intellectual property laws.
Customer CAD Submissions: You retain ownership of all original CAD models, blueprints, or technical drawings uploaded to our platform for custom fabrication. By submitting files, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use the files solely for manufacturing, quality control, and order fulfillment.
8. WARRANTIES, RETURNS & REFUNDS
We stand behind the craftsmanship of our engineered components:

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, fleet downtime, or business interruption—arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of our products or website.
State-Specific Exceptions: Some state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion/limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights under your state's laws. In such states, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Informal Resolution: Before filing any claim against SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@slatetruckcustomparts.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
Class Action Waiver: You and SLATE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS agree that any legal proceeding or dispute resolution shall be conducted strictly on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
11. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. The "LAST UPDATED" legend at the top of this page indicates when revisions were made. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
